Design of a photovoltaic system to cover the energy demand of a home in the Rocafuerte Canton, Manabí Province

In the present work, a photovoltaic system connected to network and integrated into house in Rocafuerte canton, province of Manabí, is designed. For its development, computer tool for sizing systems PVsyst was used, with which annual production electrical energy 8.8 kWp determined, losses were also analyzed due main factors such as shading, wiring, power electronics, array, angle inclination, temperature by irradiance sun. addition, parameters installed provided data planning electricity consumption. The results showed that generated can cover 84% demand house, infrequent conditions, but projection entire months less Which constitutes an alternative generation obtaining energy, taking advantage available spaces houses.
